Hey everyone!

So today it occurred to me that I haven’t blogged in about two weeks, which is mainly down to the fact that I’ve been so busy... but it’s also because I just haven’t been purchasing as many beauty products as I typically do.

I’ve decided to start up a little “vs.” series in my blog, where I’ll tell you about two of the same type of product and compare to two. There aren’t enough of these blog posts about which is why I’ve decided to start up this series, I think it’s really helpful to see a comparison of two different beauty products to make the decision making process that much easier!

So today I thought about products that I usually use on a daily basis, or a product that I recently bought and haven’t blogged about yet. This made me realise that there are two products I needed to tell you about! Lately I’ve been obsessed with searching for the perfect hair products. I usually like to spend most of my money on makeup, but recently I wanted to take extra care of my hair (which we all should do!)

I normally just pick up the same hairspray after work, which is usually the L’Oreal Paris Elnett Satin Hairspray (normal strength).

I love this hairspray; it’s definitely a cheap and cheerful hairspray that is definitely a favourite within the beauty community.

What I love most about this hairspray is the unique formula that holds the hair in place without that stiff feeling that you get with a lot of hairsprays. The hairspray is an ultra-fine spray that leaves my hair feeling extremely soft straight after application; most of the time this hairspray makes me feel as if I put nothing in it in the first place. I love it!

The only negative thing I have to say about this hairspray is the smell, there are so many hairsprays out there that genuinely smell amazing and leave a gorgeous lingers smell on your hair that is to die for! But unfortunately this is something that this hairspray is desperately missing! I’m definitely not a fan of the smell, but because this spray ticks all the other boxes for me, I will continue to purchase it!

While I was wandering around Boots the other week, I decided to try out another spray (a better smelling one) that would maybe top my love for the Elnett spray. So I decided to pick up the Lee Stafford Hold Tight spray. As some of you may already know, I’m totally obsessed with the Lee Stafford hair care range. This is mainly because of the smell of their products; they definitely have a very distinctive, beautiful smell that I always get compliments on!

This hairspray is slightly more expensive than the Elnett spray, retailing at £5.99, and you definitely get a good amount of product that will last for months. This hair spray definitely lasts longer than the Elnett spray and smells so much nicer, it has that distinctive Lee Stafford hair product smell which I absolutely adore! But unfortunately if you apply too much of this hair spray it will create the awful stiff feeling which I’m really not a fan of! So be careful not to spray too much of this stuff!

Overall I’m undecided as to which of these win, because they both have factors that I like and dislike, but I wanted to give you a comparison of two budget hair sprays to help you make a decision of which one you’d like to try out. So I hope it helps, again these blog posts will be a little comparison series that I’ll be doing regularly in the future. I’ll compare everything from hair care, makeup to skin care products, both budget to high end! So keep a look out for them!

Thanks for reading!
